Burlingame delegation visits Boston.

The group from China, which includes Anson Burlingame, envoy plenipotentiary, Chih-Ta-jin, and Sun Ta-jin, receives a banquet in its honor at the St. James Hotel on August 21, 1868. It remains in Boston until September 2, 1868.
